Graphics Card in a IX Hero board not recognized
I'm bringing a IX Hero back to life after it had sat for at least 2 years, I got it running. I have two M.2 SSDs on the motherboard. I then tried three different graphics cards in both the X16 and the X8 slots and none were recognized. These included: Gigabyte Geforce RTX 3060 Ti, Evga GeForce GTX 750 Ti & Nvidia Quadro. What's the secret? Windows 10 Professional Pro.

Hi javelinmania
Welcome to the ROG forum.
There really is no secret, try with one gpu only in the pcieX16_1 slot, connect the proper pcie power cables and monitor cable to the gpu. Fire it up and it should give you display to enter the bios.
If the gpu isn't recognized or giving you display, in the bios, double check the Primary Display setting is set to Auto or PEG. Or try resetting the bios to defaults with F5.
If you're still having issues, try updating or reflashing the bios.
Does any of this help?
What code does the motherboard Q-Code stop on?Last edited by Nate152; 06-19-2022 at 12:34 PM.
