For some strange reason my PC performs worse in benchmarks when PBO limits are set from Auto to Motherboard. Verified with CPU-z and Cinebench. BIOS 2803.
Although the limits are vast higher with the Motherboard setting. (PPT 1000 vs 142, TDC 160 vs 95, EDC 190 vs 140) my 5800x boosts about 100-150Mhz less and the vCore drops about 0.03-0.06v more under load compared to the Auto limits.
Do you guys have any idea why that is?

Initially I tinkered with the PBO settings because I got bad benchmark scores. R20 low 5k, R23 sub 14k)
I'm now in the high 5k in R20 and over 15k in R23 but still not what I wanted to see. And the unexpected bevaviour when playing with the PBO limits made me think that there is something fundamentally wrong and there is performance left on the table.
