Hi all,

Title says it all. Purchased new strix 3080ti OC edition (2 weeks old) that produces significant coil whine under load. Louder than the fans @ ~ 70%

No other issues with the card, no visible damage and no loss of performance. It's paired with a Seasonic Prime 850W Titanium PSU.

Can anyone provide any feedback on this? TIA

Card was approved for RA and replaced and same issue.

I've heard from electronics enthusiasts that the coil whine could be caused by the power supply.
Can you test with another power supply of the same power or more

I reckon cekeu might be spot on, the power supply is likely contributing to the coil whine.

I upgraded to a Seasonic TX Prime 1000w and I have never had this since, my specs are in profile. I see you have same PSU as me, seems odd as its highly rated. Perhaps change the GPU power cables?

Check your PSU output to GPU connector if sit in correctly.
