How to get PG279Q firmware update?

Hi,
Ive got the ROG-SWIFT-PG279Q monitor and have basically lived with the vertical line bug addressed in this sticky:

https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?87380-Firmware-Update-for-ROG-SWIFT-PG279Q

I wasnt previously able to find any mention of the bug or the firmware fix referenced in the sticky.

Could someone direct me to how it might be done please? The link in that thread seems to have expired.

You don't. Unfortunately you need to send it in for them to update it.

bumpity 🙂

There's no need for a bump, I gave you the answer already. This monitor cannot have its firmware updated in-home by a user because of the Nvidia FPGA board for G-Sync. It must be updated in the support center by sending it in to Asus. You must contact the support team and let them know you want the firmware updated and they will make a ticket for you to send it in. There is no other way.
