asus rog GL704 gpu+ cpu fan replacement

Hello,
I just bought a used RoG laptop, a GL704_715 and the gpu fan has issues spinning.
I won't bother with temporary fix and will change both cpu and gpu fans.

Now, the only kit I found comes from China.

Question:

Since I will dismantle the laptop, I wonder if there are better fan alternatives that are really effective to cool the laptop down.

It's a laptop, I want it to be transportable so fans have to be inside the case.

I will take a good thermal paste as well, since I don't think liquid metal will do.
Too many components to reapply the paste on.

I would only comment that if you open the laptop you may very well void the warranty.

Return it under warranty and let authorised team repair, should also be free

I would but as far as I know, the 2 year warranty is now elapsed..

I may be wrong but as it seems I am on my own..

Ok, I am about to purchase the fans.

Anyone else confirm that their GPU fan is spinning freely while the laptop is switched off?

Mine has some resistance.

I don't want to mess if what I experience is perfectly normal (controlled spinning of some sort..)
