ROG Zenith Extreme Alpha Q-Code 36 on boot

Hey!

Earlier this year I bought a Zenith Extreme Alpha with a Threadripper 2950x. The previous owner had problems with it booting, but I bought it anyway because I wanted to see if I could get it to boot. I haven't been able to boot it because it gets stuck on Q-Code 36 and the Q-Led for the DRAM shines. The Q-table says it's "CPU post-memory initialization".

I have tried 4 different RAM modules. One kit is also listed in the QVL-list. Tried all the slots on the motherboard also.
I have tried different PSUs, with no change.
I have re-seated the CPU and checked for bent pins a couple of times. But I noticed that one of the Resistors in the CPU socket is discolored. It's black but the others are "light brown".
Got Q-Code 00 when I do not have any RAM installed.
Flashed both BIOS and tried every BIOS firmware. I also cleared CMOS each time I flashed.

Could it be something that interrupts the boot? I want to use the CPU and motherboard so all help is appreciated!
