Keyboard backlight on start-up

So, for my keyboard backlight, I have it set to a static, red coloration. However, as of very recently, I started seeing that the backlight flashes/strobes rainbow colors when I start up my laptop, before then reverting to the static red that I want it to be at.

Can anyone tell me why this is, and what I can do so that, whenever I turn the laptop on, I can just have it be the one, static color instead? As far as I can recall, this is how it worked in the past, until (as I said) very recently.

Could you share some information about your setup?

Any changes recently to your computer that might impact the backlight on the keyboard? (New software updated, etc.)
