    Question Install Memory

    Hello,

    I want to know if I can install DDR4 3600MHz in the ASUS Maximus Hero VIII.

    The best way to know for sure is to check the QVL to see if the memory is compatible:

    Looks like it doesn't support it, may need to go for 3200 kit

    Hello JayM16,

    The ROG Maximus VIII Hero supports up to 3800MHz memory.

    A 16GB kit (2x8GB) would have a better chance at running at 3600MHz.

    Agreed with Nate152, there are ,any pretty good ram running 3600MHz 2X16GB ram in the market. Some even can clock higher without much need bios value adjustment.
