ROG MAXIMUS Z690 FORMULA Memory detect issue.

Hello

I did multiple trial by removing the ram and clear cmos.

I put it now in A2 B2, it works now and show speed of 4800 and i enabled XMP I and showed me speed of 6600.

But the problem happened in the two condition that after login to windows the system freeze and crash while playing video game or doing CPU-Z stress. (This doesnt happen when the rams using A1 B1 whit 4000 Speed)

Its really wierf issue and i dont know what or where the problem or what to change

Using defult mode 4800 also causing crash and freeze during stress or gaming.

XMP II causes the computer to freeze and crash at login screen. While XMP I at stress crash

It seems like anything over 4000 would cause crash

I updated to the latest firmware available in ASUS website including intel management engine and rapid storage.

the new thing that putting single ram in B2, works and with speed of 6600mhz and without any crash or freeze even after 5 minutes of CPU-Z stress.

but the problem putting another ram in A2, it wont post. putting single one in A2 also won't post and showing "Memory Detect" A55 .

tried default, xmp1, xmp2. the same result.

any help would be really appreciated.

Guys, any help would be really appreciated, I live in a country with no ASUS service center or warranty, I bought this MB with 750$ before 11 months a and now get this weird issue. I don't know weather its MB issue or some bios tweak or something else.

So if is MB issue I think I have to throw it away.

if the system is crashing at optimised defaults then something isn't right. If possible, take the components to a system integrator to test for you.

The problem is with asus and their latest bios breaking xmp, I'm confused why mods around here are dancing around this issue..

Optimised defaults does not apply XMP. Please only respond to the thread unless contributing.

He told me it's motherboard issue and we don't have asus service center here so either keep it like that or throw it away
