Can a wireless chip on an X470 Crosshair VII wi-fi be changed? Previously, they were screwed into the motherboard, but I guess the current board has them soldered in.
You didn't specify which Crosshair VII board you have, but you should be able to just remove the I/O port cover, then unscrew the wi-fi card shielding and remove the m.2 A+E card.
