Aura bombed on update. what to do to fix?

Last update blew my Armory up. Armory Aura sync page can't see any devices but it does list them on the individual control page. I click on Claymore or my Motherboard maximus apex XII it locks and never goes to those pages. This reminds me of what happened like 2 years ago before they got to this better UI. 🙂 What should do.. uninstall or ? the update center had me update again but it didn't fix anything.
It also locked up my Aida84 extreme when I went to monitoring page lol.. conflicts there I guess. I won't use the monitoring page
however aid64 is working again. Aura isn't

Do I need to uninstall / reinstall ? I haven't had an issue for over a year. This last one bombed.

The update to Armory Crate killed my RAM modules (in as far as the RGB goes).
It took me a while but if you have a backup of Windows you can restore it and run the older version.
You will have to disable the ASUS ARMORY CRATE update in Windows Updates in order to keep it from updating you to the new version.

ASUS does not provide older versions of the software so the only way back is if you have backed up your OS.
AOEMI Backupper was a life saver in this case.
At least my RAM modules are not stuck in rainbow mode.

Hope that helps. Let me know if you need instructions on finding the update and killing it in Windows Update.

I ended up downloading the armory crate un-installer. I had to un-install. Reinstall the software which didn't fix it. Then I un-installed it again and re-installed and it's working now.

Use the Armory Uninstaller program you can download from the asus site.

Don't mix this program up with the Armory Installer program. It is labeled Armory Uninstaller .

BTW I got absolutely no help or any ideas from ASUS. WTF is going on with them. I have bought so much stuff from them it's not funny
