Z690-P D4 2003 BIOS problem, 12900K all core run at 4.5Ghz only.

Hi

After updated to 2003 BIOS, all core run from 4.9 down to 4.5Ghz only
I didn't overclock the CPU, just use auto setting as before...
Please advise what's wrong with the new BIOS?? :eek:

Guys,

I just updated the BIOS to 2003...
after updated to 2003, all core under stress test e.g. gpu-z, ada64,
CPU running at 4.5Ghz only.. it is 4.9 before.

I didn't over clock the CPU, just set to auto only.

Please advise what's wrong with the new bios?

Hi joseph lai,
Do you check it with bios all default settings(no OC)?
Does it only run at 4.5Ghz when run the specific apps or it always 4.5Ghz?
Did CPU run 4.9Ghz on bios 1620 with bios all default settings(no OC)?
May I have the following information?
- the serial number of your motherboard via PM
- OS version and OS build
- a screenshot of when all core run 4.5Ghz
If the brand and model name of your CPU, RAM, graphics card, PSU and OS drive are different from your profile, please also let me know.
