Hi.
I have a STRIX B560-A Gaming mobo and when I connect two external HDDs to USB 3 ports and I copy a file from one to another, after a few seconds to a minute, the copy fails and the drives become unresponsive and I have to restart the PC. This happens in both Win10 and 11.
Things I have tried:
1- reset BIOS, XMP active/deactive, selective port activation, disable C-state, upgrade/downgrade BIOS version,
2- changing ports (case ports and mobo backplate ports, no change),
3- control panel power options for USB,
4- complete uninstall and reinstall of USB drivers from device manager
5- using driver update software and updating chipset and usb controller drivers,
6- changing my PSU from 550W to 850W.
If I connect one to a USB 2 port, they work fine but slow af.
Also, when I safe remove any flash or external HDD, the other become unresponsive too and I have to restart.
Appreciate any help.
