Zephyrus S17 discontinued?

I can't find any places that sell the XB98. I also have seen the model designation XH98 when searching around. What does that mean?

Consider checking with ASUS support too in the future if there are any problems to get answers here, but if you're asking about the GX703HS-XB98 2021 ROG Zephyrus S17 model, it's no longer currently sold through ASUS distribution, so will probably be difficult to find.

GX703HS-XB98 is the 'full model' name which specifies the configuration since GX703HS is just a general model name and doesn't tell you what kind of cpu, memory, hard drive, Windows configuration, accessories, warranty, etc. comes with the notebook, so you always want to specify or watch out for the full model name when shopping for an ASUS notebook.

GX703HS-XH98 is just a different full model name which may have a different configuration, accessories , or warranty.
Not finding this model in my information right now, but the online specs look pretty similar, so not sure what the difference is right now which we may want to see if others have ideas about. Thanks.

Seems like this has been wholly replaced with the Zephyrus Duo in the product line.

I was lucky to find an XB96 in May 2022. Ordered from a military Exchange department store. An amazing machine.
