Asus Z690 Extreme, RTX4090 boot loop

I did reboot, I had to after amending the Windows crash recovery settings.

ok nice to know that you have no problem then.
as always Asus is absent.

Asus is the only manufacturer that is always absent.
There is a problem with many users and no one join the problem, no way to contact them, if you open a ticket they reply with automatic messages.

I'll think twice before buying asus next time

Z690 APEX / 4090TUF OC. Unable to replicate here.

NVIDIA have currently offered a workaround to customers experiencing this problem whilst they investigate:

With no driver installed, install the RTX 4090 on your PC.
Install the driver and quickly go to the NVIDIA Control Panel, in the "3D Settings" section.
Set the power saving mode to "prefer maximum performance".

I upgraded my 12900K with a 13900K with no other upgrade in terms of hardware/software version and my problem is now solved.

this does not have sense to me but ok, I'm glad that now it works.

I am still having this issue. 13700k with an MSI 4090 and a Z690 Hero board.

It was resolved by a BIOS update for ASUS boards. 2204 will sort it for z690 hero.
