Sorry that I don't have any meaningful suggestions, but what BIOS versions are you and your bother using? There might be a clue in there somewhere.

no display after 1 reboot with rog strix 4090 oc, ryzen + gigabyte mobo
Got a ROG Strix GeForce RTX® 4090 OC Edition 24GB GDDR6X today and i'm using it with Gigabyte X570S AORUS MASTER (rev. 1.0) motherboard. Latest bios.
Been gaming for prollly 5hrs nonstop and then rebooted PC. Led light on the GPU when PC is off but it's not giving any display output when i try to boot up the PC again, unless i remove power completely for a minute or so.. Then i boots up normally with video on the display. Anyone else know why this is? Bios failure or the card?
Using 2000w EVGA 80+ Gold PSU, Gskill CL14 3600MHz Ryzen 5950x. Tried resetting CMOS but nope. So gotta remove power completely every time i'm going to restart the system..Last edited by somewede; 10-14-2022 at 01:52 AM. Reason: bad writing

Still waiting for my Asus Strix 4090, unfortunately it seems it will only be available next week. I will let you know, but in the mean time I really hope you can figure out what is causing the issue in your system and fix it.
$2 000 USD / €2 500 EUR for a card and instead of enjoying your new GPU in bliss you get a horrible nightmare. Ouch.
I would not be surprised, given Microsoft latest track record, if it had something to do with the new windows 11 22H2 build (unfortunately that is also what I am running now). It had a ton of issue with the previous version of GeForce Experience, among others. Also reading about issues with the latest nVidia 522.25 drivers (which you have no choice but to install since they're currently the only drivers that work with the 4090).

This is a strange issue maybe it's related to the Extreme boards.
I installed my 4090 I received on Thursday by first making sure Windows 11 manufacturer driver installer was disabled then rebooted to safe mode and ran DDU with the option clean and shutdown and then install the GPU and the latest available 522.25 drivers from Nvidia's website and it has been rock solid since for 2 days here and I am only running it on a Seasonic Focus Gold 850W PSU so I don't think it's a the PSU issue sounds like something else, Hope you get it sorted.
