I have a hard time finding any compatible 2x4gb memory kit, this mobo is like a lab rat raised in a complete sterile enviroment when it comes to memory compatibility or i am the unluckyest person in the world.

I've tested Mushkin 8GB DDR3 1600MHz Black Frostbyte Dual Channel Kit and a Corsair 8GB DDR3 1333MHz CL9 XMS3 Dual Channel kit rev. A and 3 more OEM nobrand 2x2gb modules, since i bought the system i have yet to have it run stable, i crashes a lot less with the 2gb modules then with the 4gb ones.

Also there is the problem of availability in my country, even if i find some one the internet they might be US only like the crucial memory, the cost of importing those are astronomical.

So i ask you guys do you know TESTED to work memory kits of 2x4gb prefered 1333+ mhz.

I've been trying to get my system stable for over a month now, i'm pretty dissapointed and frustrated by now, but hope dies last.

Thank you all in advance.

Anyone heard for phenom II memory controller problems to be true? How could i contact a amd representative to be certain. How to test for it?

you can check out chew's oc guide which has memory that has been tested to work 24/7 stable on his profiles.

http://www.asusrog.com/forums/showthread.php?523-Crosshair-4-easy-OC-bios-profiles.

ill ask him if he has a longer list of supported memory

I can't find any 2x4GB modules in that thread they are all 2x2GB witch does not help me much. Any other leads i have yet to find someone using 2x4GB modules.

What country are you in by the way?

Thank you for the reply, i am in Romania so i will have to purchase memory from the european market, i'll check to see if patriot distributes in Europe, i would also like if you could specify if u are using a sixcore CPU, as i have heard rumors that 16GB is only supported on CF IV from X4 downwards and that you cannot use 4GB modules with x6 cpu's.

That is cool, Romania is a very beautiful country! I did some searching on Patriot, and two sites that they say sell their products in Romania are http://www.dc-shop.ro/ and http://www.extreme-computers.ro/ I am using a Six Core Phenom II, the 1090T Black Edition. Oh, I forgot to add the voltage on that memory defaults to 1.65V, but I had to raise it to 1.85V to make everything stable and good. Good luck, and let me know if I can help out any more!
