Oh, I completely misunderstood. I thought your machine wasn't booting. This is my first motherboard with Q-Codes so I had no expectations of the reassuring AA.

Nah, boots great, that's why I said "Operation otherwise appears normal" in the OP. And it *does* read AA, for a few seconds before Windows loads. Also remains AA if I boot on Ubuntu off a USB stick.
I am guessing that this affects everyone on BIOS 0705 and Windows, and the only reason there's not a lot more people mentioning it is because most folks are leaving the BIOS default to show temperature instead of POST codes, which would completely mask the issue.

Interesting! And that does track with when I started having the problem.
So. Question. Without Adrenalin installed, are the integrated graphics totally unusable? I wanted to install it just so I could have *something* working should the GPU card ever go bad. Let's say GPU bricked one day, and I didn't have a spare. Without adrenalin installed, I should at least be able to get into the bios just by plugging an HDMI from motherboard to monitor, right?
EDIT: Confirmed, uninstalling Adrenalin got rid of the 81.Last edited by Qwinn; 11-06-2022 at 08:02 PM.

It's the intergrated gpu in the cpu, if you go into the bios and disable it you will get post code AA once booted into windows, if left turned on once the Adrenalin drivers are loaded on booting into windows it will post a code 81. Hope this helps others. Nothing to worrie about it's normal.
Thanks

I'm at work at the moment, will see what I can do when I get back, might be a bit of an issue as that setup is water cooled, should be able to get my fingers in there between the pipes hopefully. will post back for you later tonight. Also which memory slots are you using and how many sticks of ram do you have.
Thanks
