NOTE for Z690: You must update ME on your Z690 to properly support raptorlake (if you are on dual bioses then you need to do this to both bioses)

    1) d/l and install ME driver
    https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/m..._20220809B.zip

    2) update ME with ME Update Tool (I know there are newer versions but its not up on Asus official site yet so >= this version is fine)
    https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/m....25.1885_T.zip

    3) update to Latest BIOS of your choice

Note 2 for Z690: i have some Z690s that are already LOW in battery so you are advised to use a new Battery during this upgrade.

thanks for your continued work on these Shamino, really appreciate it but if I may regarding the 13900K upon the Z690 Extreme, where do you see the future of 64GB (2x32GB) kits past 5600 (currently on) or even 6000 (QVL) on these?

a year passed and my Z690 Extreme is still a crap in managing 4 sticks of RAM.
can't go past 5.2GHz C36 and sometimes it hangs on boot at "detecing memory".

I'll never buy an Asus mobo again.

That's not an Asus problem, all Z690 boards are Daisy Chain (ie higher frequency with only 2 sticks of RAM), might want to look up Daisy Chain vs T-Topography before you bash Asus...

only asus mobo can be 100% stable under stress tests for days and hangs on boot the next day.
never seen this problem on other boards.

@Shamino thanks for this new beta BIOS for Z690 Hero. Finally have 7200 CL34 A-Die TeamGroups stable on the board with default "XMP Tweaked" and auto everything. Excellent work.

Why did Asus returned to Bios 803 for download, is there something else wrong with 804 ? (besides Overclocking)
    Thanks
I'm wondering the exact same thing, because I'm on 0804 as well on my z790 Hero board.
I've noticed some strange behaviour compared to 0802, like my previous settings that were completely happy with a 280w power limit, now want to pull more, hitting Power limit exceeded in HWinfo..
Same settings that could run Cinebench R15, now can't, all with a simple BIOS update..

For the PRIME Z790-A WiFi, ASUS released an official 0806 BIOS, which I presume is newer than the 0802 posted here.
Just saying, perhaps the same will be released soon for the other Z790 boards.

Voltages were definetely changed going from 803 to 804 to get stable.
