It's not his fault.
It's a Quality Control Parts Issue!

With the 703 bios my 7600 sticks are stable at 7000. Might wanna try that for now.

7000? We need 7600 and 8000 as ADVERTISED and PROMISED.
I don't buy 7600 sticks for 7000.

Cancelled my preorder of GSkill 7600 memory. In my situation, what is the point? Probably would not boot with that either.

oh that's sweet...
in Europe, Extreme is starting ~1400 Eur, Hero is 770 Eur at least and Apex starts around 950 Eur... (Eur vs US$ is almost 1:1)
saw last nights on forums and discord that LOTS of users cancelled their preorders for the Asus mobos...
that rumor that Asus is using random bad DDR5 slots for their boards might check out, lots of users noticed on their Z690 boards that one slot is better / running properly than the other when they tested them separately... sometimes both are compromised indeed
I don't think I want to live again the pain trying to find out some stable setting to run XMP... when it seems a battle lost from the start if Asus is so mercantile and still uses bad ram slots not wanting to lose money, probably they bought A LOT and the stock is still full enough as they're still using them for Z790 as well
I don't have the money, time and the nerve to bin a board to just to run it for daily/gaming only at the promised and advertised features...
unfortunately, I am too peasant to have a pretested board so I might have to get used to some other bios looks from now on...

0088 bios posted in sticky on extreme no change. All defaults 6400 code 55. 6000 boots no problem.
