Question XML files on C drive root?

    Hi,

I've noticed that 4 xml files have been created on the root of my C drive. I'm assuming these are related to Armoury Crate as they all reference ASUS and/or Aura in the XML header.

    • GetDeviceCap.xml
    • GetDeviceStatus.xml
    • QueryAllDevice.xml
    • SetMatrixLEDScript.xml

They were all created today, and they seem to have been created around the same time as when I installed a cumulative Windows update.

I've never seen these files in the past. Does anybody know what purpose they serve, and if I can safely remove them? I don't particularly enjoy my C drive root being used as a dumping ground for generated files like these.

it's nothing serious, they will disappear on their own in time, they must probably be used during the installation of the software
