z790 hero ethernet problems
When gaming the ethernet adapter freezes for a couple of seconds making the experience unplayable. If I use wifi this does not happen. I've tried both I226 ethernet drivers versions 1.1.3.28 and 2.1.1.14 with no success. Is the adapter that comes with the board broken? Any one else with the same symptoms?

i got same problem on my build that i finished yesterday windows 11 22h2 full updated on a z790-e, but i solved it setting card to full power, speed forced 1gbit and installed latest intel network adapters full pack , https://www.intel.com/content/www/us...iver-pack.html

Yeah thanks a bunch! Forcing 1gbps speed is probably what fixed the issue.

z790 apex here with the same Issue.
It is persistent even with the tricks mentioned above.
No power down and 1Gbs Full duplex.
Still the internet connection is a mess:
edit: i`ve managed to get a stable connection @ 1Gbs
! Beware of the network driver installation package.
Due to the fact, that there is no confirmation window, it is easy to install the driver twice in a row.
-> That removed the network card completely from the system. It did not even show up in the device manager anymore.

Did a network reset in windows which changed the driver; now it seems to be working fine; fingers crossed.
