Mem won't go to 3200
Set up:
Rog Strix X570e
AMD 5950x
Mem: 3600mhz (2 8gb sticks)
MP600 SSD
Nvidia GeForce GT1030
I tried to set up memory at 3200 via docp but won't boot. Boots at 3000MHZ. Why?Last edited by marksfiumara@gmail.com; 01-30-2023 at 03:10 AM.

Could be bad sticks or a weak memory controller on the CPU. Is your memory kit on the QVL for the x570e? Make sure you have the latest BIOS update.

If you have a PC repair shop (or a nerdy friend?) in the area you could see if they have AM4 components to help you test your parts. Figuring out the culprit is going to be easiest with additional test hardware.
If you're on your own probably the easiest step would be exchanging the memory kit, but an unstable memory situation can be caused by memory, CPU, or motherboard.* Support disease research with Folding@Home *
