Help please. Asus N52DA wireless problems

Retired
Not applicable
After a shutdown my computer decided to basically take a crap now I cannot connect a wireless network. The wireless manager doesn't seem to be working, I've tried to re-install it several times from my driver cd, but am still having problems, any help would be appreciated.

First I would go to the Device Manager (available through the Control Panel) and see if the wireless adapter shows up and is not flagged with any errors. Without the adapter the manager won't do anything. After that you can try just uninstalling the wireless manager and just using Windows to do the job.

If you notice in Device Manager that the Wireless device has any kind of question mark or exclamation point next to it, then double-click the device and click uninstall, then reboot and check Device Manager to see if the Wireless device shows up without any kind of question mark or exclamation flags next to it.
