How to turn off Wi-Fi on G74SX?
How do you turn off the wi-fi on G74SX?
Not just disable it in the network option, how do you turn off the wireless light (at where the power light is)?
Does it save battery if I turn it off? Thank you very much.

Fn=F2 will toggle it on/off. There may be a BIOS option too: check for that. Yes turning it off saves you 5% of your battery life; a few minutes at most (those things only max out at 1.5W or so, maybe 2-4% of the overall consumption of the notebook).

Use the Fn+F2 hotkey to cycle through the WLAN options. It does use some juice, so I imagine there would be some battery savings in turning it off.
