Sounds like the laser may be out of alignment - Though alignment should be somewhat automated - Somthing else may have happened - Unfortunately the DVD drivers used on our G73s are prone to mishaps - If you're G73 is under warranty then you might consider going the RMA route for repair - Or you can get a replacement -
