my sys

using AI suite autotuning to do a fast OC to prevent Vcore higher then 1,3V

I updated around 2hours ago, i'm doing just great actually i've managed to tweak a few settings downwards and still keep high stability in my setup at 4.6ghz (had to down tune from 4.8 since it requires too much damn juice)

Now sitting at 1.360 Vcore / 100% LLC / Manual - Ultra Fast VRM Phase Control - 500Khz / 1866 mhz Ram 9/9/9/21/2 (these are overclocked from 1600 9/9/9/21/2 so pretty funky i got my old 1600 ram speeds back and still keeping the stability in the system).

I'm not really sure what this bios fixed? As i didn't have troubles before, but i upgraded to be on the safe side so so far zero faults this end. I suggest if you want a OC you do it manually through the BIOS if you know how?

Edit: What CPU speed are you trying to obtain? - would potentially help with finding out why your CPU is using that much juice
PC Specs: Intel 2500k - 4.6GHZ (Overclocked) 7 Stepping CPU.
Corsair Vengance 16GB 4GB Kit @ 1600MHZ 9/9/9/24/2 - now overclocked: 1866 9/10/9/27/2- ATI 6850 GFX - (OC 855mhz/1165) -
Maximus Gene Z/Gen 3 3305 BIOS, Voltages: Ram 1.6 - CPU 1.360 / 75% Vdroop. VCCISO 1.1500.
Antec 300 Case - Sata II 5400 RPM 500GB Master HDD.

Are all your settings in BIOS on default.

Set your own voltage in the bios for the CPU so it cannot jump up to insane ammounts if your running stock you really shouldn't need too much or does this not fix it either?

im not to good with setting up voltage in bios so i just ran auto tune for the fast OC profile keeping cpu safe at 1,3V i dont think it will dmg my cpu to much overtime at this setting crossing fingers 😛

No problem at all at those voltages and your cooler. 1.3 is good to go.

May I tick this from my todo list in that case? 😄
