I've been with GIGABYTE , ASUS and EVGA and I say that I go with ASUS for motherboards, I go with GIGABYTE for graphic cards and EVGA not so much. I realise from my experience that ASUS has a more higher quality motherboards then the other two brands that I have mention. I move to ASUS because every time I order an GIGABYTE or find spare GIGABYTE motherboards they always go DOA in 3 or more months.
Then I start to purchase ASUS motherboards and I never had a problem since. I know we aren't talking about motherboards but I'm getting there. Then I purchase an PALIT GPU GTS 250 (4 years ago) and it run great still have it and gave it away to my brother and it's still working as we speak. I chose the PALIT because there was lot's of great reviews about it but the GPU fan are very noisy and I was playing in 1280x1240 resolution and can run all in high settings. The reviews said it was noisy but I still buy it because of the performance.
I love to check different brands!, then a few more years later I bought the GALAXY GTX 460 SE and I've been with this card for an year it is very amazing, I also think that GALAXY and PALIT is the same company not sure I was reading this ages ago. I was very impressed because it has great reviews and it ain't noisy at full load like the GTS 250 and it was a great upgrade from those two. I also still have the 1280x1024 resolution monitor. Oh the ASUS motherboard I was using was the ASUS P5G41C-M LX it's been running for years.
Then a couple of years later later I just bought a great bargain for this PC (on my signature). Now I bought it because I heard that the GIGABYTE is one of the best brands and it was the GTX 560ti and this card actually is very great. The GPU fans work softly and quietly and it creates less heat then the other brands I just bought. I am playing with the 1680x1050 resolution but this monitor I have is HP and it sometime's causes the WSOD (white screen of death) it's a pretty old monitor and I don't think it was meant for this GPU.
So from their I will buy an ASUS monitor which will be the right choice. The Q6600 and the motherboard EVGA not so great with performance with this old EVGA motherboard. I did not try the new EVGA motherboards but I think I will let that pass from the experience I'm having witht his mobo rather go back to ASUS.
This is where I stop and look for great deals and saving allot of money this year I would try to get all the hardware's ASUS brands!. I've been hearing that ASUS products are great quality's and well trust worthy with their customers. So I never had an ASUS GPU card and I would love to try one out. I've been going to brands to brands and I know that ASUS would be the best option to go and it would end my journey from there.
The ASUS motherboard and the GALAXY GTX 460SE is still with me in storage until this EVGA motherboard becomes DOA. Also ATI was my first graphic card I bought and I don't like the performance, so I went with NVIDIA and since always stuck with NVIDIA. AMD also brought me down so I went with Intel CPU all the way as well. That's when I know that NVIDIA and Intel works really well together and so I will buy the ASUS brands.
P.S I know that the survey is ended I just wan't my voice up there too. I've been reading and make great review of each products.
Hope this helps.
