Drivers Rampage IV Extreme

Hello,

Firstly, sorry if I post in the wrong place.

I was wondering what I have to install drivers for this motherboard.
In fact, I integrated the drivers to the ISO of Windows, and for this R4E, there seem to have a certain number.

At the first utlisation I had a lot of devices where the drivers were not installed (for R3E, I just needed the drivers ACPI, for example)

Is Intel Chipset drivers?

thank you very much 🙂
Sorry for my english 😄

Make sure u grab the needed OS version (XP/Vista/W7) and 32 or 64bit drivers.

Normal install is primairy OS > SP1 > chipset/lan drivers.

After that u update your windows using the Windows Update option.

Cheers Baalberith for the links and reply.

OP - since we do not know how or which drivers you slipstreamed it is impossible for as to answer besides as has been done.

It is such a quick process installing drivers these days that I do not bother with the slipstream any longer.

Ah ok I am with you now.

What I do these days is simply install the main two or three depending on what platform. Intel has slightly more than AMD to install most of the time.

The main ones you seem to have sorted.

These days Auto Update will find all the drivers you need. You can then select them to install if you wish. Depending on the AutoUpdate settings of course.

Ok thank you 😉

I think the drivers are available in AI Suite (I'm looking for .inf), right?

I would look at the next install any devices are not installed, and look at the drivers I need

Ok I'm not sure that will be the latest version of AI Suite on the CD, I would take the site "station drivers"

What's you're OS...x86 or x64?
I integrate all my drivers via DISM and have the files for 64-bit-works really well; I much prefer to integrate as well. If your OS is 64-bit I'll zip up the files in an attachment. All are just that that is required for this motherboard and are the latest/stable.
