heya just done a new pc build and was thinkin of adding more ram, i currently have corsair vengeance 8gb(2x4) at 1666mhz and was looking to add the new G-Skill 8GB Ripjaws X DDR3 2133 Dual Kit - Red, was just wondering if it is compatible wit the asus crosshair v formula

any advice would be greatly aprreciated thanks

The ram is compatible with the board as I have used it myself.

Clocking ram on the CHV is a pleasure if your CPU is up to the task. And bloody hell if not. I had a duff 8120 that fortunately a mate wanted for his office build. Could not clock ram for anything. So if you do get the 2133MHz or higher from your GSkills is really up to the CPU.
