DirectX 11 or 10???

hey i heard that the geforce 460m in my rog notebook was directX 11 capable but in the windows 7 it shows as directX 10 version.
I cant download DirectX 11 because its windows 7 standard.

Yes, the GTX 460M is a DX11 card. If you have a ROG laptop that has a GTX 460M then it should already come preinstalled with Windows 64 Premium.

Type "dxdiag" into the run command in the start menu. You can then see which version of direct X you're running.

i just wondered because windows said i have directX10
dxdiag said i have 11 so this is solved

For some reason, my G53 didn't have directX installed and I had to download it from the microsoft website.

This laptop definitely supports dx11 though.
