I am going to PM him now and ask, since I would like to (and could) serve in this capacity.
I am disturbed because I cannot break my system...found out there were others trying to cope! We have a support group on here, if your system will not break, please join!

It's just a matter of the tags on the page, I doubt it is targeted.
Bots just search for forums with certain tags and spam them. Computing related forums get CC #'s. It's just the way of life.

Here's a idea for spam controll, Add a new index for new comers that are looking at building a ROG/Asus rig or buying a Asus product so they can get some help from us all, newbee's can look but not post on the rest of the site,, To be a full member you have to regester a serial number from a Asus product to gain full access to the site. than any spams should be limited to the new comer forum.

Well, it would concentrate the spam in one area at least. I'd worry that the product specific forums would feel even more empty though because I'm guessing even some legit owners couldn't be bothered to register a serial number and would just kick around in the general discussion area.

Same here. I am a "ASUS VIP" because I am a Super Moderator...and I didn't register my hardware. I didn't want to be bothered. Second @xero and @kkn on this.

Lately I'm seeing a lot of spammers posting the same thing again and again... even in the same thread... - I'm wondering if it would be a solution if a filter could be setup against the same posts... I mean, when the same post from the same user appears second time, could that user be blocked automatically? At least for new users, who just registered (let's say in the last 5 days)...
It's just a thought, I'm not familiar with programming...
