I am wondering is it possible to overclock G74sx CPU? I am on i7-2630QM CPU. Thanks

Possible, no, the BIOS is locked by ASUS. Besides which, why would you want to? The TurboBoost that Intel puts into their new chips makes more difference in performance. You can, however, overclock the videocard, but that won't really do anything. The performance gains in overclocking a notebook are minimal, even with the excellent cooling solution that ASUS implemented into their notebooks.
I am disturbed because I cannot break my system...found out there were others trying to cope! We have a support group on here, if your system will not break, please join!
