Got the dreaded "live-update-broken-usb" situation yesterday, even though I uninstalled the Asus live update weeks ago (because it broke my usb drivers).
It started with a blue screen this time, when I rebooted it had deactivated the usb drivers (to protect the system!?). Now it's not possible to either uninstall the old usb drivers, or install newer ones. When changing to SSD primary drive, I accidentally deleted my recovery partition. Is the only way around this to do a clean install of Windows? Is there no way of installing other usb drivers, edit registry etc..?
