G75V 256GB SSD has only 120GB visible. Where is the other 136GB?

Just received G75VW-T1013V! Excellent! All looks good & runs fast..................... but 256GB SSD is not all accessable.

Drive is split into C: 95.3GB & D:Recovery 25.4GB. Total 120.7GB. Where is the other 136GB??

System interrogation with OpenSource "Speccy" shows 256GB SSD installed.

How do I find & access the rest of the drive??

Check Windows Disk Management to see if there are any hidden partitions or non-partitioned areas on your SSD.

You probably have the rest of floating at the end as an unassigned partition.

Use windows administrative tools to fix the issue (at the very least to inspect the details better than speccy will)

Specifically Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management

From there you should be able to see the full volume in all its assigned/unassigned partitions and correct any issues from there.

If it is unassigned.. simple right click the unassigned portion... mount the volumes remaining space and format it and it will be accessible.
