    G75/G55 Temperatures

I'm creating this thread so everyone can share they're temperatures.

This can be very helpfull for all the new buyers to get more info about normal temperatures.

To create some kind of patern:

    Model: G75VW with 670m

    Ambient: 27ºC

    CPU Temperatures:
    -Idle: 40ºC
    -Heavy Load: 71ºC

    GPU Temperatures:
    -Idle: 42ºC
    -Heavy Load: 80ºC

Btw I would like to get a review on my own temps if possible cause my last G75VW runned much cooler.

I started a thread similar to this one late last week: http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?17270-What-are-your-stress-test-max-GPU-amp-CPU-temperatures-and-fan-speeds&country=&status=

Since I only got one reply, I'll post my numbers here:

G75VW-BBK5 stock thermal compounds; no overclocking of GPU

    Ambient: 24.6 degrees C

    Idle CPU: 40 degrees C
    Idle GPU: 39 degrees C

FurMark setting: 1920x1080 windowed, Anti-aliasing 8X MSAA running 20 mins
Max GPU temp: 70 degrees C
Max GPU fan speed: 3455 RPM

Prime95 stress test running 20 mins
Max CPU temp on any core: 83 degrees C
Max CPU fan speed: 3422 RPM
G75VW-BBK5 (Stock configuration with added Crucial M4 256GB SATA SSD as OS boot drive)

Need to know how to restore your G75 to it's factory-like condition? Go to my step-by-step guide:

Sorry Cecil did not see your post.

Anyway I don't understand why this computer that is exactlly equal to the old one that I returned is heating more than the other. Aren't the built the same way? In the other computer I used to get max Cpu around 65ºC and max Gpu around 75ºC.

We can clearlly see by cecil's temperatures that the gtx 660m produces much less heat.

My G75 660 gets to about 90c on a 1080 run of furmark with my overclock 1085 core 2850 memory. 79-87 while gaming.
