GPU Clock when Second Monitor is Connected | Asus g73sw

I just found out, that when I connect an Monitor with an HDMI cable to my Laptop the GPU Core Clock Speed automaticly goes up to 675 Mhz.

This causes that the GPU gets hot and my fans are always blowing really loud.
Even if I set Windows to only display the Laptop Monitor, it still stays at 675 Mhz

As soon I unplug the Monitor cable, the CPU Core Clock goes back to 50.6 Mhz.
EDIT: As soon I unplug the Monitor cable, the GPU Core Clock goes back to 50.6 Mhz.

Is there any possibility to fix this error?
So I can use my secondary Monitor without having the Core Clock at 675 Mhz?

Thank you in Advance for your Answers.

Ok well im not 100% sure with note book pc's. But i had kinda of a same problem with my normal tower build but after hours of messing around with it turns out it was my psu. As for note book pc's. The Core Clock changing from 50.6 Mhz. to 675 Mhz is normal when using HDMI as for your laptop problem im not going to be much help as i dont really know how you can sort the Mhz to run lower or at a level stable to the secondary Monitor. But good new's im sure some one with knowleage will point you in right direction. Sorry for be'ing no help.

Anyway thanks for your help.

I now found a Solution:
http://blog.orbmu2k.de/tools/nvidia-inspector-tool

In this tool theres an Option Multi Display Power Saving.
As I activated the option everything worked.
