This board look awesome. I just have some doubt about the real efficacity of the VRM to southbridge and chipset cooler. Is it really a niec thing to compromise cooling for lok???

With the secondary NB cooler included in the retail box the Rampage III Extreme heat sink solution does a great job keeping the temps down around 35c

Also, if you take a close look at the way the blades are angled. It channels air in the right directions. On some if not possibly most gaming cases on the market, they have intake from the bottom of the case, using a fan, this pulls air in and travels through the blades into the memory modules to cool those. As well as disperse the heat from the heat sink itself, rather than just a flat heat sink. The north bridge, will capture air coming from the front intakes of the case [if any] and throw it out the back where there usually is a 120/140mm exhaust fan. In theory, it's an aerodynamic heat sink set up in my opinion. And as said by V2-V3, temps are well within acceptable range.
