ASUS UPDATE removed my NVIDIA drivers.

It keeps wanting to run the update on V8.17.12.6114. The update runs, reboot, now on generic card. Look at update, the same Version wants to update. It's done this 4 times. Best resolution I can get now is 1280. Detect and Identify were no help.

Well I updated my Drivers straight from NVIDIA's website so I'm back. The whole thing worries me about future ASUS updates though.

ASUS update is useless IMO. I just un-installed it.

Agreed. Get rid of all the bloatware. If you need a driver update just check Chastity's thread stickied on this forum. I have it set as one of my homepages so I never miss a beat.
