GPU Monitor Help

I have been using the GPU Monitor to try and identify a problem with my computer. Could someone please explain, to me, what 'VID Usage, %' does/means?

--------------------------------------------------------------------

If anyone has any insigt into why processes are gradualy using more and more of my GPU Usage as my computer uptime increases i would love for you to tell me why.
Example:
Windows Media player Classic = 24% GPU Usage (on start up)
|
Windows Media player Classic = 80% GPU Usage (after a couple of hours)
+ What ever 'Vid usage' is shoots up to 99% whilst previously being 0%

I don't know how popular these forums are, but i will be here until i resolve my issues, again i would hugely appreciate any information.

Is it only with WMP classic? Like if you use VLC or vanilla WMP does the usage increase as well?
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station…

Thanks for your reply but i worked out the problem, i don't know exactly what the problem was but meh.
Firefox although it appeared there was no memory leak was causing my GPU to become stressed for some reason causing everything to require more GPU usage.
Reinstalled Firefox seems to have resolved this issue
