Crosshair V Forumla and AMD FX-8120, Bios problems

Currently right now I am in the process of waiting for ASUS to send me a new mobo, but after reading the forums for days I am starting to think that the bios 1503v are messing up the boot process.

I think it is the combination of Crosshair V Forumla (mobo) and AMD FX-8120 (CPU), does any else notice this?
Also ASUS can you run some tests on the combination to verify if this is true. If so could you produce an updated bios to fix the problem.

I can give it a go and see how it pans out. Anything in particular you were keen to see, or just the boot process is fine?
To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.

Actually Kaitlin, 1102 is a really stable Revision for our board. So far, it has been the most stable for me...I haven't even bothered with 1503 lol

I will post up, I had updated my bios to 1503 & less than a week later... my pc will not even boot up!

Long story short here it is: A week after I update my bios (1503) I try to turn on my pc but it doesn't even boot up. I get a CPU_LED light and no video. Yea I checked everything and it was all ok. I have RMA'ed both the motherboard and CPU. I received a new mobo and still have the same issue that I was having before. So now I sent the CPU to be RMA'ed and when it comes back we will see what happens.

I have posted before on this and keep having to trouble shot this issue. Here is my last post if you care to read:
http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?18956-I-don-t-know-what-is-going-on.

If the CPU comes back and I am still having problems I am betting that the bios are at fault.

For what ever it's worth, I'm running the 1503 bios and I've had no lockups, no blue screens, no unwanted reboots, just rock stable
