Yesterday i've upgraded my bios to 2xxx.cap.
My system was configured as Raid 10, and unfortunately i've forgotten to backup my datas.
The result...
Raid failed and all datas were lost ( 3 drives out of line and no way to recover).
I've lost anything/ mail, datas, software.
please remember to backup everything necessary before upgrading your BIOS.

Did you update to 2002 or 2003? if 2003 there is apparently a backdoor in it, to roll back to a pre 2xxx revision through BIOS Flashback

i 've updated directly to 2002.
Yes raid revert to ahci.
i've set to raid again but 2 drives still disconnected again.
the only solution was to built a new raid volume deleting the previous one. it was impossible to enable the two off line drives before this.

The update will set AHCI as default you would have to set it back to RAID in BIOS before booting through to windows. Can't you unplug RAID set update BIOS change to RAID and plug RAID array back in?
