Even though I have noticed this a long time ago, I got curious so I though of posting this,
Do any of you guys who use the 560m GPU noticed that the drivers 301.42 (released May 2012) was now, not the recommended video driver? When it was first released the site used to give me 301.42 but after a few weeks when I search for the latest driver for a gtx560m (i am using a g53sx), the results show the 296.10

Anyhow, a few days ago, I wanted to emulate a ps2 in my laptop since I was bored. After that, when I try to type in Facebook (no matter what power usage I use, I seem to have a bit of delay when typing (I fast a little faster but not that fast to "lag" the insertion point (aka the line that blinks when you type). I also seem to notice slow frame rates when playing full screen videos from Youtube.

Anyhows, I wonder if thats the gpu driver's problem. Can you guys tell me how to make my current driver (301.42) go back to the recommended 296.10?

Btw this may not seem to be related but also the notification thingy (the thing on the left website address in the address bar in Chrome) is always showing a white paper instead of the thumbnail used by the website, I wonder what is happening. Might as well do a reformat if things continue like this.
