ROG Orion Pro Headset + ROG Xonar Phoebus. Should I use the Spitfire?

(I'm very much a noob when it comes to computer building, and this may be a stupid question)

So I bought the Phobeus sound card and the Orion Pro Headset recently, and I don't know if I should use the Orion's Spitfire Audio Processor or not.

If I use the Spitfire, I have to plug the headset into an USB port, and not directly into the sound card.
    Does that matter?
