hmm ok let me see what I can find here in the UK then. Cost me £5 to send a SLi bridge to Hawaii so not too expensive postage.

Not to reserect an old thread, but I've looked everywhere for them. I read on another forum that someplace in the US. You can buy them with a 2 pin connection on the other end and connect it to the temp connections on a fan controller and get the reading from the there. It was from one of the water cooling suppliers. I've tried all that I know and none have even heard of them. That sure would be great to have. I wish the Asus online store would sell them, I would think they would.

You have me a bit confused here, the probelt connectors are for attaching a multimeter and checking out voltages. Not sure what the connection to the the fan headers and voltage measurements is. 🙂

Honestly, I'm not sure either. On OCN a guy said he had cables with the probelt connections on one end and standard temp sensor connections from a fan controller on the other end. He said if you connect the probelt end to the motherboard and the other end to the temp sensor connections of a standard fan controller on the other end, the fan controller would display the values of the probelt end instead of temps as most do. I thought that was a quite novel idea and also thought if the fan controller just read whatever value was sent to it, it sounded plausible. But, I have never been able to find one. I'm old and have a fading memory, but I thought I remembered him saying he bought them from Sidewinder computers. But they say they never heard of them. I hope that made sense and you understand what I'm talking about.

Thanks mate. I have never heard of anything like that before. Not sure that it makes sense from an electronic perspective.

You could test this just with two bits of wire I guess, oh and steady hands. All the probelts do is prevent slippage of the DMM probe.

Well, I thought it sounded too good to be true, so thought I'd ask the experts. But, I did think they read a value of whatever they were connected to. But, I've never used them, so thought maybe I could get some use out of something I had paid for. I appreciate your help anyway. Thanks

EDIT: Thanks for the link, I may give it a try.
