It routine update to fix bug/error.
Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future.

Why do not you write that with OC over 4.6 Gz, the bios 2xxx ask twice the tensions of 1404, and then walled up to 4.9?

Has there been any stability fixes for 7970 cards? I am wondering if it is my board. I have been getting random screen freezes running eyefinity and crossfire/ trifire. I have tried gen 2 in bios with same issue. Clean installed Windows 7 64. I have tried every driver released for 7970. I was wondering if some from asus has tested the motherboard with 7970 crossfire/trifire eyefinty on a reference 7970 card. Single card running eyefinity is fine. I have tried different combinations of cards in crossfire to rule out a bad card. All work fine solo. Just wanted to get some info if this setup has been tested by asus. I would imagine since they sell AMD cards this would be tested.

These freezes happen while gaming.

From what i have learned from reading what "CallSignVega" has posted on overclock.net. who has done a insane testing(no joke has new hardware once a month even less sometimes). His new project was to do 3*1 portrait 2560 * 1440 at 120 Hz when he noticed the problem you guys are talking about with crossfire-x eyefinity problems. first he switched to Z77 to get the Gigabyte Sniper3 for 4 way 8x gen3 and nothing changed. then tried 4 way gtx 680's. That fixed the problem you guys are having, and this is because with crossfire all the monitors have to plug into the first card and with SLI it doesn't matter. I can't remember what the exact thing that was taking place but this is what was causing it( something to do with the first card not being able to handle everything) . and if you ever wanna pull this crazy set-up off "CallSignVega" finally unlocked Pandora's box by getting the ASrock extreme 11 as that is x16/x16/x16/x16 in quad sli or else you wont get close to 120Hz well 120fps also you have to do the gen 3 registry hack or you would be the same as the z77sniper3.... Hope this doesn't just make you throw your cards at the wall knowing you cant fix it unless something has changed since i read that 1.5 months ago in a driver ................ if you wanna fix it., $1500 for 3 way 680 sli
