Will this backpack fit my g75vw?
I plan to buy a slim and inexpensive backpack for college to carry my laptop around, but I'm not sure if the one I found will fit. Does anyone know if this backpack will fit at all?

No. You'll need at least an 18.4 bag to handle it. Just bought one, in fact.
Remember: the screen is 17 inches, but you have a good inch and more hanging from the back.
I ended up getting this one. Not a backpack, but just to give you an idea:

It fits perfectly with no wiggle room.

Hi i just bought this one: http://www.ebuyer.com/345528-dicota-...casual-n28218p
It fitted perfect! and it has good space for power cord, mouse and even an XL size keyborad like mine Zboard - Stelth
Good padding inside is the one thing i was most conserned about, but it seems to be verry good.
The bag is light waight and sits nicly on my back.
Couldent be happier with a product this cheep

Thanks for helping! Do you think the Targus XL will be too big for a 5'7" skinny frame person?

hey just bought a g75vw laptop but i'm having trouble finding a good bag for it. The everki beacon looks really good and can hold my stuff but it's a bit expensive. Does anyone know if the astro scout or mission backpack is to small for the laptop?
Regards Marcus

I dunno about those other bags, but I'd recommend the SWISSGEAR IBEX 17.3in version or 17in (dunno how they advertise it!)
I thought my G75 wouldn't fit it, but if you don't mind not using the pouch (which is what i had to do with my old 15.6in asus and my old swissgear, it fits perfectly. You still use the rear pocket of the bag but you simply disregard the pouch (due to the huge rear-end/hinge region on the G75. Anyways, using that compartment, it fits in rather easily, sometimes needing a few shakes to slide all the way in, especially if you've got the rest of the bag already packed full. I've had mine for ~ a month and I love this bag, it's comfortable, durable, and apparently 30 bucks cheaper than the hundred I paid at Best Buy (I saw it online for 70 bucks on new egg!)
Hope this helps!
