G74SX freezes/lap after return from slp/ hibernate

I am using G74SX and everytime I return from hibernate, the computer would freeze and lag. So i switched to going to sleep and how it seems that my ext mouse would stop working unless I open the DVD drive. I know this is a minor issue but it is really disappointing and annoying to open the dvd drive every time i use it.


Please help.
