G55VW owners screen quality question

The default screen of these bad boys is the 1080p fullhd super clear matte type screen right. Now i've had bad experience with matte screens like the thinkpad t420 or the vaio s13 and they are so pixelated and grainy.

My question is before i pull the trigger on a g55, how is the matte screen quality of it? What is the contrast ratio and gamut percent of it? Is the display vivid and accurate? Is it grainy or pixelated like the t420 or the sony vaio s?

Hmm.. I do alot of gaming and used to have an Alienware M17x before i got my G75vw with matte screen..
Its pretty good i think, i dont notice any grainyness or a pixilated look.. Its only if u go up like 2 inches frm the screen or something it looks a tiny bit grainy but thats normal on any screen no? lol infact i like this better.. u get no glare when playing or using it during the day 🙂

i think there are two types of screens. mine is glossy, not matte.
