Before stating this, try doing serious OC, all bios 2xxx over 4.5 Gz ask voltages much higher than the previous 1xxx, to wall at 4.9, while the 1404 is under RS linx to 4.9 with v-core offset + 0.030.

actually, i'm testing 2105 official Bios.

and i can say that my OC require lower vcore (0.005v) and i can put VCCsa and VTT in 1.1v (with my previous, i had 1.15v)

My CPU pll is working at 1.6v too

with this, my cpu max core Temp droops some degrees

I have specified more than 4.5:

    4.5 best 2105
    4.6 similar
    4.7 significantly better 1404
    4.8 much better 1404
    4.9 unacceptable voltages 2105, good 1404.
    5.0 not 2105, 1404 excellent.
    5.1 only 1404.
    5.2 only 1404.
    5.3 only 1404.

    I use 1404 at 5.0Ghz. 1.50Vcore.

i have heard people reporting that 2105 is 'faster' at the application level, but also asks for higher voltages than 1404 .. not sure can I get anyone to confirm this though, so just my experience.

    Like asus site says:
"> Get the latest BIOS version for optimal support of PCI Express 3.0."

and looks to be real for me...... is more stable over pciex3.0
